“The Locke was recommended by our hotel desk clerk and it was wonderful. The pub atmosphere is cozy, the food was excellent, and our waitress (Dove) was helpful and so friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and would love to go back. It was one of the most fun evenings in Limerick!” - Margaret W
“Great food and beer. The staff are very welcoming and ready to help any way that they can. Reasonable prices.” – WanderlustGR
“Great service and wonderful food on a wet cold night I felt warm and welcome. Our waitress Dove was amazing and kept us happy all night!!! The beef stew was very good and the chicken wings were the best I’ve had. Best selection of beers or whiskey or whatever you felt like drinking that night.” – Turbo9723
“Yes literally the stew is to die for. It was no sooner put up and it was gone. Wish I could start all over again. Must hold back until another evening. Looking forward to the apple pie. One of the best locations and estuaries in Limerick. I’m only looking forward to trying another dish tomorrow evening.” – Donieg G
"The Locke bar is a kind of restaurant that makes you want to plan an entire trip just to eat there. The atmosphere is lively, with a live Irish band playing and it’s relaxed lighting. The food is wonderful, and the potatoes (much like any restaurant in Ireland) are fresh and delicious. Their cheesecake for dessert is a must have, and unlike the Cheesecake Factory, it’s fluffy and light, and it changes every night! I give this place five stars. It’s definitely one of the best restaurants in Ireland." - Kyle C. Decker Prairie, United States
“This is a really nice pub with a great atmosphere. The food was amazing: we had burgers with fries that were delicious! The food arrived really fast and drinks kept on coming! I would say, this is the best pub in town for a real Irish experience in Limerick!” – Juliane M
"The Locke bar is situated on the edge of Kings Island (The Bridge) & the edge of the town centre. A great pub type atmosphere can be found both inside & outside with extensive seating. The food was great with a good variety of choice. A great spot to dine or just for a drink." – Angmering, UK
